Brookfield Donates Space to Nonprofits at World Financial Center

Hope For The Warriors® moves into temporary space after Hurricane Sandy removes them from their donated office space at 55 Water Street.

Hope For The Warriors® moved into new, donated office space on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. The office space was donated by Brookfield Office Properties and located at 4 World Financial Center/250 Vesey Street Tower. Brookfield is offering the use of the space for up to six months to 501(c)(3) organizations and small businesses who are displaced due to Hurricane Sandy. Hope For The Warriors® is a national nonprofit organization that assists combat wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen.

The office space is furnished and internet-enabled. Each organization may utilize space for up to 20 people.

Hope For The Warriors® offices were in donated space at 55 Water Street for more than four years. The building has had extensive damage due to Hurricane Sandy, however, the nonprofit will return to the space as soon as the offices are ready. Hope For The Warriors® anticipates returning to 55 Water Street in less than six months.

The mission of Hope For The Warriors® is to enhance the quality of life for post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty. Hope For The Warriors® is dedicated to restoring a sense of self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for our service members and our military families.

Hope For The Warriors® has earned a Four-Star Rating from Charity Navigator (http://www.charitynavigator.org), an independent organization that evaluates fiscal responsibility and accountability of nonprofits.
