We have been working with organizations in India for over a decade, helping customers drive forward major infrastructure development projects in the areas of energy, power generation, and oil & gas, as well as defence.
Bangalore, India, and White River Junction, VT, USA (PRWEB) November 23, 2012
Concepts NREC (CN), a world leader in turbomachinery design and development, providing engineering services, advanced CAE/CAM software, manufacturing services, and turbomachinery education programs, today announced the official opening of its offices in Bangalore and Noida, India, to support its growing customer base in the region. The company will also host annual user conferences in the region to help customers network with other design software users, and sponsor the American Society of Mechanical Engineers 2012 Gas Turbine India Conference in December.
Companies and government agencies in India work with CN, leveraging its engineering design software and services to develop turbomachinery parts – from turbines and turbochargers to pumps and compressors – for some of the country’s most significant infrastructure projects. One customer, Triveni Turbine, the largest supplier of steam turbines in India, has worked closely with CN’s software and consulting services to fast-track the expansion of the Triveni industrial steam turbine product range. Another customer, the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has been using CN’s Agile Engineering Design System® software to design gas turbines and compressors. DRDO is responsible for the development of technology for use by the military. They are headquartered in New Delhi, India, and have a network of 52 laboratories which are deeply engaged in developing defence technologies, including aeronautics, armaments, electronic and computer sciences, life sciences, combat vehicle development, and naval research and development.
CN Managing Director for Asia-Pacific Nitin Jain explains the company’s commitment to servicing customers in India: “We have been working with organizations in India for over a decade, helping customers drive forward major infrastructure development projects in the areas of energy, power generation, and oil & gas, as well as defence. We are excited to establish our offices in the region to make it even easier for our customers to work with us, and to further support the growing demand for an expert turbomachinery design and development partner, as the country continues its focus on infrastructure development.”
CN will sponsor the American Society of Mechanical Engineers 2012 Gas Turbine India Conference to be held at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach on December 1, 2012. Jain will be on hand to talk about how the company helps customers reduce design cycle time and costs to design and develop gas turbines and other turbomachinery including turbochargers, compressors, turbines and pumps.
