Veracity Payment Solutions selected to provide processing services to SBAM members

Veracity Payment Solutions, a privately-held merchant acquirer headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, announced today that it has signed a processing agreement with the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) through its Lansing, Michigan, affiliate Midwest Transaction Group (MTG).

SBAM, with a member base of approximately 17,000 businesses throughout Michigan, will be endorsing credit and debit card processing through MTG Powered by Veracity as a member benefit. MTG has been handling merchant processing for more than 12 years, offering payment solutions and competitive rates for member-based channels across multiple business sectors. Much of MTG’s growth has been the direct result of specialty payment services for association and trade affiliations.

“We wanted a local partner who understood the value of relationship-based services, as well as the ability to offer cost-efficient products without sacrificing the quality of customer support to our members,” said Sarah Miller, marketing director for Small Business Services with SBAM. “MTG has a proven track record of delivering on that expectation while supporting our members here in Michigan. We’re pleased to partner with them.”

“We are thrilled to be selected by SBAM to provide processing services to their members,” said Chuck Shults, vice president of alliance sales for MTG powered by Veracity. “SBAM is known for its rigorous screening process when choosing companies with which to align themselves as providers of top-quality benefits to association members. They recognized MTG as a processor offering straightforward, competitive pricing while maintaining the highest level of customer service. They also understand how diligently we work to maintain our partner relationships and our ability to perceive the special challenges trade associations encounter when it comes to member benefits. We’re looking forward to a successful long-term alliance with SBAM and the wide variety of businesses they represent.”

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
