Dave Sizelove, President and CEO of Aquatherm Industries, Inc. – a U.S. manufacturer of solar pool heating systems – has been selected to speak at the upcoming 4th annual SOLAR THERMAL National Solar Heating & Cooling Conference.
Held in Downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the two-day event is focused on bringing together solar thermal industry professionals including installers, manufacturers, distributors, engineers, designers, policy makers, code officials, and trainers. Per the show organizers, the conference "brings together some of the brightest minds in the solar thermal industry to brainstorm ideas to solve questions critical to the industry."
Mr. Sizelove will be presenting on the topic of “Saving Energy and Money: Hybrid Solar Pool Heating for Commercial Pools,” in an effort to address a market segment that includes nearly 800,000 commercial/public swimming pools worldwide – half of which are located in the United States – that stand to benefit from solar thermal heating systems.
The presentation will focus largely on key differences in solar thermal technologies – including unglazed polymer collectors, glazed “flat-plate” collectors, and evacuated tube collectors – and, subsequently, how those differences affect the performance and payback period of a solar pool heating system. The presentation will also compare the effectiveness of utilizing an open-loop solar heating system versus closed-loop when heating a commercial swimming pool.
The presentation will take place on Thursday, December 6th, in the Wright Ballroom B at the Hilton Hotel in Downtown Milwaukee.
Aquatherm Industries is the largest manufacturer of solar pool heating systems in the United States, the only U.S. manufacturer of NSF listed solar pool heaters, and the only U.S. solar collector manufacturer to achieve the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard.
