Attracting and retaining quality employees is a vital component of our success; being recognized for doing so is especially gratifying.

Pentec Health, Inc. today announced it has been recognized by 100 Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania as one of the top 50 places to work in the medium-sized company category. This is the second year in a row that Pentec Health has earned this recognition. In 2011, Pentec’s ranking was number four; this year’s ranking will be announced on November 29, 2012 at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, Pa.

The Best Places to Work program was created in 2000 as a public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal. The program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Pennsylvania, who contribute to the state's economy and its workforce.

Qualifying companies from across the state entered a two-part process that included an evaluation of each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics, and an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and their final rankings.

“Attracting and retaining quality employees is a vital component of our success; being recognized for doing so is especially gratifying,” said joseph Cosgrove, Chairman, President and CEO of Pentec Health. “Knowing that the feedback provided by our employees has earned us this recognition speaks volumes about the collective pride we share in Pentec, and how vested they are in our continued success.”
