Supporting the 2012 Project T.O.Y. is a way for our entire organization to give back to our community. We love the idea of enabling parents to bring some joy to their children.
Huntington, NY (PRWEB) November 27, 2012
The Schlitt Law Firm is happy to announce that it is supporting the 2012 Project T.O.Y. (“Treasure Our Youth”) with the Tri-CYA and Family Service League of Long Island. Debbie Rimler, Director of the Tri-CYA says, “This very special program gives parents who are struggling financially the opportunity to choose two new unwrapped gifts for each of their children. Parents are invited to select gifts at no cost to them and given the pleasure of presenting gifts to their children.”
Carol L. Schlitt, founding partner of the Schlitt Law Firm says, “Supporting the 2012 Project T.O.Y. is a way for our entire organization to give back to our community. We love the idea of enabling parents to bring some joy to their children.”
“We have already made a substantial cash donation to the cause and we are matching the contributions of our employees. We are collecting toys at our office and asking clients, business associates, neighbors and friends to drop off toys. We will close our office early on December 17 so we can help wrap the gifts at the Tri-CYA.”
Carol and Debbie both explain, “We are asking others to help by contributing a new unwrapped toy or gift cards for children ages birth through 12. We are also accepting financial donations and wrapping paper.” Donors can drop off gifts at the Schlitt Law Firm at 79 Wall Street in Huntington Village or at the Tri-CYA behind the Big H Shopping Center at 809 New York Avenue.
Mark X. Cronin, Director of Client Services at the Schlitt Law Firm and a Board Member at the Tri-CYA, says, “Tri-CYA does remarkable work in the community and it is a good opportunity for our firm to contribute in a meaningful way.”
The Tri-CYA (The Tri Community and Youth Agency) is a private, not-for-profit community based agency dedicated to supporting the growth and development of youth and their families in the communities of Huntington, South Huntington and Cold Spring Harbor.
