Accessible Systems, the leader in accessibility products and services for persons with disabilities, the aging in place population and recuperating individuals will open the doors to their brand new world-class show home during an open house event on December 15, 2012.

The company has made a name for itself for home modification projects, premium stairway lifts, personal medical equipment, residential elevators, barrier free bathrooms, ramps, grab bars, doors widening, and other products that help people stay happy in their homes regardless of disability, aliment or age.

According to Accessible Systems co-founder Nathan Colburn, the new location will be the first of its kind in Colorado and will allow for people to see changes that can happen within a home while actually in a home-like setting. “ We wanted our new show home to be the Best in the West with a comfortable place for people to touch, look and experience a modified home with the best accessibility products on the market,” Colburn said.

The open house will also serve as the company’s grand opening and customer appreciation event. The Accessible Systems team will highlight special projects, showcase industry partners and will share touching stories from clients that have had their lives changed by the services they provide. Such stories will include a Veteran from Craig Hospital that thought he may never be able to live in his own home again after sustaining significant injuries while serving our country; and a story from a senior citizen that modified her home to suit her needs as an aging person rather than moving to a care facility.

The public is invited to see life-changing products and services that allow people to live in their home despite a medical event or disability. “Most homes have the same barriers; stairs, small bathrooms and different levels; we are proud to demonstrate how small changes can enhance the home environment. These small changes make homes more safe and keep people out of hospitals or nursing homes,” added Colburn.
