Sleep Outfitters continues to support families in Columbus by sponsoring The Junior League of Columbus’ “It’s a Wonderful House” Holiday Tour of Homes and Pre-Tour Kick Off Party and Silent Auction. Their donation of money and gifts will bring people together in a joyful way to support future community outreach by The Junior League of Columbus.

Admiring beautiful homes that are all dressed up for the holidays is as much a holiday pastime as drinking eggnog and attending cookie exchanges. This year, in Worthington, Ohio, the distinctive homes within Oldstone Crossing will be blinged out for The Junior League of Columbus' “It’s a Wonderful House” Holiday Tour of Homes on Saturday, December 1, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A Kick Off Party and Silent Auction, sponsored in part by Sleep Outfitters, will be hosted on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. at Gallo’s Pit BBQ. This event will feature an advance look at some of the decor to be featured on the home tour. Party guests will enjoy an evening of appetizers and cocktails along with the opportunity to participate in a silent auction. All these events raise funds to support the mission work of The Junior League of Columbus.

Homes on the “It’s a Wonderful House” tour will be glistening brightly, reflecting each home owner’s traditions and values. Residents will share their personal holiday stories, and showcase their decorating style. In one home, seven Christmas trees are decorated in a vibrant display of holiday glory. In another home, the owner had a moving experience in a Jewish sorority while in college and now celebrates Christmas as well as Hanukkah. Sharing this blend of design styles and traditions will make this a memorable holiday festivity.

The tour begins at St. John’s Episcopal Church, at 700 N. High Street in Worthington, where guests pick up their tickets and a map. There, guests can shop at the Holiday Boutique, which features unique gift and specialty items from local vendors. Tour tickets may be purchased at the church or in advance from The Junior League of Columbus.
