Star Hu gets a London Fashion Welcome

Hot on the heels of Chinese fashion giant Bosideng, Star Hu, a promising young Chinese/British fashion designer launches her store at Portobello Green Designers, London. Already the darling of a swathe of celebrities, success seems inevitable. Does this sudden burst of Chinese fashion into the London market spell the beginning of a new tide of Asian influence in western fashion?

Beijing born British/Chinese designer Star Yixuan Hu was raised in Tokyo, Wellington and London and is the designer behind the label ‘STAR HU’.
After graduating from Istituto Marangoni in London Star designed her first collection with a vision to create an enduring future elegance. Often inspired by the sleek hourglass silhouette Star Hu creates pieces that encapsulate power, sexiness and femininity.
