Beckham’s co-star, the Transocean Chronograph Unitime Worldtimer, unveiled last year, is the latest evolution of the much-loved Transocean Chronograph series.

Breitling have enlisted the help of David Beckham to promote their new Transocean Chronograph Unitime Worldtimer, with the former England footballer appearing as the face of the luxury watch brand’s latest campaign.

“I’ve always been an admirer of Breitling,” Beckham said of his partnership with the historic watch brand. “As a company they create not only the highest-performance watches but also timeless designs that have inspired generations. It was a natural choice for me to partner with this fantastic brand.”

The stylish L.A. Galaxy player shows off his Breitling timepiece in a glamorous new advert shot against the inspiring backdrop of Mojave Air and Space Port in California, USA. The shoot, by Anthony Mandler - one of today’s most in-demand photographers and music video directors, was featured in the Autumn/Winter issues of Calibre, the Watches of Switzerland biannual magazine that showcases cutting-edge editorials and interviews with industry insiders. The image is also showcased as a full scale window display of the Oxford Street Watches of Switzerland showroom. Beckham and Breitling will take over the windows for two weeks between the 15th and the 29th of November. The Watches of Switzerland showroom will be the only store in the West End area to showcase this exciting new campaign.

Beckham’s co-star, the Transocean Chronograph Unitime Worldtimer, unveiled last year, is the latest evolution of the much-loved Transocean Chronograph series. A new double disc sits on the dial and can accurately display the time in 24 time zones, a feature powered by the addition of the Calibre Bo5 - an automatic movement with a power reserve of 70 hours. The luxury timepiece is a self-winding, high performance watch made for busy travellers the world over.

The Unitime watch was first produced in the 1960s and is regarded as the ultimate travellers’ watch (as even the most uninitiated might guess by the beautiful global map on the dial) due to the precision of its 24 time zone tracking mechanism.

Breitling is just one of a multitude of luxury watch brands sold through Watches of Switzerland.
