Representatives with CFT QLD announced today that it has joined the Creek To Creek Chamber of Commerce.

“We’re excited to now be a member of this prestigious organization,” said Joanne Ballantyne, owner and director of CFT QLD, which recently celebrated its 11th year anniversary of business. “The Chamber has a long-standing history of excellence to the community and we can’t wait to contribute and connect with fellow members.”

The Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce is the most active Southern Gold Coast chamber of Commerce. It has members from Coolangatta, Tugun, Currumbin, Elanora, Palm Beach, Tallebudgera and beyond.

Ballantyne explained that the organization, formally the Palm Beach Elanora Chamber of Commerce, the Creek to Creek Chamber has members that are part of many major tourism attractions as well as industrial and commercial precincts, creating a diverse local business community.

CFT QLD, Ballantyne said, is a licensee for registered training organizations that provide nationally recognized training in RSA (responsible service of alcohol), RSG (responsible service of gambling), food hygiene or food handler courses food safety supervisor courses (FSS), RMLV courses (responsible management of licensed venues); CLO (customer liaison officer) course.

“The courses that we provide will help those in need of training and certification, which will in the end help people on their jobs while providing companies with well qualified employees,” Ballantyne stressed.

In fact, Bruce Kapernick, a local area manager for Aust. Meat Limited, said CFT QLD makes all of its courses very easy to work through.

“I would have no hesitation in recommending you to others,” Kapernick said. “CFT QLD, you have made this food safety supervisor course a pleasure, having somebody to talk to when needed.”

Trevor Richards agreed with Kapernick’s sentiments.

“Your trainer encouraged me to believe in myself in everything she taught us,” Richards recalled. “That I knew what to do and encouraged me to always ask. I learnt a lot of new food safety facts around preparing food as well as cooking.”

Ballantyne said that although the company appreciates the thumbs up from its customers, now that it is part of the Creek To Creek Chamber of Commerce, it will work ever harder to provide high, quality trainings and courses.

“The best part about it is that we’ll do it all at an affordable price,” Ballantyne said. “We couldn’t be happier being a part of the Creek To Creek Chamber of Commerce. We thank this organization for their confidence in us as an organization and we look forward to having a great and long-lasting partnership together.”
