EJL Wireless Research is announcing a new report within its proprietary DNA-I series, an Ericsson GSM/W-CDMA/LTE RBS6601 Main Unit.

“This is our first opportunity to look into the base station design philosophy for Ericsson’s latest generation RBS6000 BTS platform, specifically the main/remote architecture. The main unit can support GSM/LTE digital units simultaneously or a single W-CDMA digital unit and is a 2U 19-inch rack mounted indoor unit.” said founder and President, Earl Lum. This analysis does not include the digital unit(s) for the RBS6601.

EJL Wireless Research continues to lead the wireless market research segment with innovative and cutting edge research such as its DNA-I series of products.

“We continue to be excited in having the opportunity to showcase the latest generation remote radio units, RF transceiver modules, BTS antennas, femtocells and base stations from major wireless equipment OEMs as part of our DNA-I program,” says Lum.

The following semiconductor & passive component suppliers are included in this report: Analog Device, Fairchild Semiconductor, Intersil, Littelfuse, Microchip Technology, NEC, Nichicon, NXP Semiconductors, Rubycon, STMicroelectronics, TDK-EPCOS, and Vishay.

The report is currently available for purchase and information can be downloaded at http://www.ejlwireless.com.
