The movement launches with #GivingTuesday, a national day of giving on Nov. 27, 2012, following other holiday staples like Black Friday and Cyber Monday. #GivingTuesday is utilizing the Dynamic Signal solution, including its software platform and team of social experts, to help engage holiday shoppers and community members to spread the word about the cause through the members’ social networks.
Individuals and partners alike are spreading the word through social networks and the newly launched community hub, which was custom built for the #GivingTuesday initiative on Dynamic Signal’s platform. This hub has made it easy for people to share content, ideas and best practices, all while connecting and engaging with other like-minded people to grow the message of giving. Dynamic Signal’s community platform will optimize #GivingTuesday’s message and campaign strategy, building a strong foundation for the future of the movement.

The #GivingTuesday community platform has been a success to date. The community has seen rapid growth in membership with a high percentage of community engagement. More than 80 percent of the community has shared or commented on content, with 70 percent actively sharing across their social channels. Content sharing by members on their social networks is enabled by the Dynamic Signal platform and results in higher views, clicks and shares than officially distributed content.
