Acuity Hospital of South Texas announces two new Medical Directors to its leadership team. Dr. Sepulveda joins as Critical Care and Pulmonary Service Medical Director, and Dr. Wood joins as Program Director of Infectious disease and Pharmacy, Nutrition, and Therapeutics.

Acuity Hospital of South Texas, a San Antonio long term acute care hospital (LTACH), announces the additions of two experienced Medical Directors to its leadership team. Dr. Pedro Sepulveda joined Acuity as its Critical Care and Pulmonary Service Medical Director, and Dr. Bruce Wood joined as Program Director of Infectious Disease and Pharmacy, Nutrition, and Therapeutics.

Dr. Sepulveda, a graduate of the Pulmonary-Critical Care program at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, has practiced in the San Antonio area for eighteen years. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Sepulveda has released numerous publications in the area of Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine and Cystic Fibrosis.

Dr. Wood has practiced in the San Antonio region for twenty-five years and is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has a Masters Degree in Tropical Medicine and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. He is a member of the Texas Infectious Disease Society, Infectious Disease Society of America and American Society for Microbiology.
