Every shirt has a story and every shirt makes a difference

Getting through your holiday shopping list can be tough; especially when it comes to finding the right gift on a budget. Well, a new apparel line from Pay It Forward (PIF) may have just found a solution that will allow you to kill two birds with one stone, and you won't even have to wait in line for the deal!
PIF Apparel is a new company that was launched late this summer to help raise money for some very impressive non-profits. Using its fashionable line of t-shirts, PIF appeals to young adults through fashion, but has a mission to educate their customers on how to make the most out of charitable giving.
The company recently released a video titled "How to make the most out of your holiday giving" which explains it's top-down approach to charitable giving and encourages its customers to first find a cause that they are passionate about before deciding what charity to donate to.
Their CEO explains the importance of selecting a charity that has a track record of using donations to benefit the cause and not to fund unreasonable salaries, events, and marketing budgets. Pay It Forward tees are priced at $23 and they often run specials that discount their shirts below $20 by taking advantage 2-for promotions.
The company also sets an example by donating 25% of every sale to the various charities that they have partnered with, all of which have a three star or better financial rating with Charity Navigator. Some of their most recent non-profit partners are:
Alex's Lemonade Stand - A donation of $400 will fund one day of research that could lead to a cure for childhood cancer
American Foundation For Children with AIDS - $1 can provide one day of life saving medicine for a child with AIDS
Children of the Nations - Just $1 Feeds Four Children for One Day
EcoHealth Alliance- Protecting global health by preventing the outbreak of emerging diseases and protecting ecosystems by promoting conservation
While the shirts have great designs and are made of a high quality cotten/poly blend, the best feature may be the story behind each shirt. Every item is tied to a charity and a part of every sale is working towards making a difference for a much needed program. Whether a person is buying for someone that is passionate about malnourished children in Africa or someone who wants to make a difference for a child being effected by cancer in the U.S., a Pay It Forward tee is a great way to give a gift that gives.
The company has also recently committed to giving away up to 200 shirts to children in need for every new Facebook fan page like that they receive through the end of the year. Find out more about PIF Apparel and the causes they are making a difference for by visiting them on Facebook.
