Santa Claus is coming to town on December 1st. The whole town is participating to give local residents a wonderful holiday experience this weekend. If you're craving a Small Town Christmas feel and you want to break up the hustle and bustle of this busy season, come and visit Wake Forest's South White Street Merchants on Saturday.

Every two years the Town of Wake Forest's Historic Preservation Commission organizes a Historic Home Tour. This year that awesome tour coincides with the Downtown Merchants Holiday Open House. The town and merchants are working together to create a wonderful holiday experience for guests who are touring homes and those who are looking for Santa. There will be rickshaw shuttles traveling the tour path, and carolers on the streets. Enjoy refreshments along the way as you visit local merchants and see who is participating in the Jingle Bell Sale. Look for the bells at participating locations. The Cotton Company will be serving Hot Cider and Hot Chocolate. Also, grab your ballots and be a part of the Holiday Window Competition Judging. Participating businesses will have decorated windows and the customers get to vote from Dec 1-15th. Ballots will be collected at The Wake Weekly ballot box.
