The ifocus System was among many entries from across North America competing to earn the PTPA™ Seal. Independent parent volunteers evaluate products in their own homes to ensure that PTPA winners are chosen based on merit and consumer experience—not on commercial considerations.

Being honored with the influential Seal of Approval from PTPA Media Inc. is a huge achievement for a product geared to families, children or parents. “This recognition is an amazing opportunity for parents to try fun and different educational outlets for children to learn fundamental learning skills,” said Michael Apstein, CEO and Co-Founder of ifocus. “We are excited to be honored with the Seal of Approval from PTPA Media Inc. and we know this recognition will help our efforts towards a brighter future for our young ones.”

Focus Education and The ifocus System was created by Apstein and John Able, CFO and Co-Founder of Focus Education who wanted to help children achieve their full potential. At the core of ifocus is Jungle Rangers, an interactive computer game that turns learning into a game. The Jungle Rangers computer game is supplemented by exercise and nutrition manuals and CD-ROMs for parents to help them assist their children in reaching their greatest learning potential. Parents can learn about helping their children to modify behavior, practice proper nutrition, and implement exercise into their daily lives.

“At PTPA Media, we are proud to play a role in certifying innovative products that families can trust,” said Sharon Vinderine, CEO and founder of PTPA Media Inc. “When consumers search for our Seal of Approval on product packaging and web sites, they are essentially searching for validation from their peers. Their peers will have objectively tested and approved these products based on their performance in a real life environment. That type of resource for families is priceless.”
