Plymouth, Michigan (PRWEB) November 28, 2012
Facility Results of Plymouth, MI, continues to strengthen its niche in NFPA 70E and electrical safety training through the recent addition of Charles R. Miller—master electrician, trainer, and author—to the team. Miller rounds out the experienced six-member Facility Results training team, which is already known for its depth, knowledge, and ability to successfully convey the value and real-life benefits of implementing electrical safety best practices.
“He is a perfect fit for the Facility Results training team. When businesses contract with us for training, they count on our trainers, like Charles, who are tops in the field when it comes to real-world application of electrical safety and reliability standards and regulations,” explains Bryan Rupert, co-founder and lead consultant at Facility Results.
Based out of Lebanon, TN, Charles spent twenty years as a successful business owner and electrical contractor. Since then, he has focused his time and energy on writing and teaching to promote knowledge and proficiency among engineers, electricians, and tradespeople in the field. Throughout his career, Charles has passed more than 40 Master Electrical Exams (with a score of 93 or higher) and 7 Electrical Inspector Exams. As an author and illustrator, he has an extensive list of electrical-safety-related publications to his credit, including some published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Miller also sits on two NFPA committees, including the committee for the NFPA 70E standard.
“Even as an electrician and contractor working in commercial and industrial environments, I’ve always been a very visual person,” says Miller. “Codes and standards can be very difficult and very dry. As an instructor I try to convey the information in a way that enables my students to visualize more so they’ll retain the information and actually put it to good use.”
As a member of the Facility Results training team, Miller will be traveling around the country instructing electricians, contractors, and facilities personnel across a wide range of industries on tried and true methods for reducing their exposure to electrical safety hazards such as arc flash.
