According to HydraTech Engineered Products, the HydraTite® internal joint sealing system– typically used on pipes and culverts with round or elliptical profiles – has now been successfully used in square/box culvert joint repair. HydraTech Engineered Products reports that the HydraTite® Internal Joint Sealing System was recently used to repair sanitary sewer trestle pipe for large sanitary system in Illinois. The pipe profile consisted of concrete pipe invert and box culvert with equivalent diameter of 66 inches. Thirty-one HydraTite® internal joint seals were installed within the trestle pipe. The application required the used of the HydraTite® flat seal design in combination with the standard HydraTite® seal used for round and elliptical profiles.
HydraTite®, an engineered Internal Joint Seal system manufactured by HydraTech Engineered Products, LLC, has been used for over a decade as an effective and economical method for repairing leaking pipeline / culvert joints. Because HydraTite® is a mechanical remediation that is applied to the inside of culverts, the need for expensive excavation is eliminated.
HydraTite® is just one system in a line of pipe remediation products by HydraTech Engineered Products.
