Venetian Builders, Inc., Miami, Fla., the leading installer of quality aluminum sunroom additions in South Florida, has doubled its workforce in 2012, said President Christopher Noe. Venetian added crews to meet demand for its residential sunrooms, patio enclosures and screened pool enclosures, and commercial work, Noe said. Part of the increased demand for residential structures resulted from Venetian’s becoming the exclusive installer of aluminum additions for 30 Home Depot stores in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and surrounding communities.

Venetian Builders Inc., Miami, Fla., doubled its workforce in 2012 to meet rising demand in South Florida for its sunrooms, patio enclosures, screened pool enclosures and commercial property improvements, said Venetian President Christopher Noe. Much of the increased residential demand resulted from exposure of Venetian’s services through 30 Home Depot stores for which it has become the exclusive designer and installer of aluminum home additions, Noe said.

“Our workforce has grown 100 percent in 2012, and that’s all in field personnel,” Noe said.

Increased demand explains most of the increase, he said.

“Our partnership with Home Depot has definitely boosted the demand for Venetian Builders-designed and installed sunrooms, patio enclosures, patio rooms and screened pool enclosures,” he said.

Venetian Builders is assembling custom-designed product displays and installing them in all south Florida Home Depots. “The displays help Home Depot sales associates understand what we can offer, and they help the customer appreciate the variety and quality we offer,” Noe said.

Home Depot also offers financing assistance on major projects, which helps some homeowners get the addition they want, he said.

Venetian’s commitment to quality is another reason for doubling personnel, Noe said. “Some companies might have decided they could expand with fewer people than we’ve involved, but we want to maintain the quality that has helped us build our customer base,” he explained. “Many of our structures don’t just meet the hurricane standards in the tough Florida Building Code, but exceed it.”

In its expansion into commercial work, Venetian has renovated hotel rooms, built a new deck for the Marseilles Hotel in Miami Beach and expanded a nursing home with sunrooms, rather than through more expensive additions built by traditional construction methods.

“Increasingly, commercial property owners recognize aluminum structures as a viable alternative to more expensive construction,” Noe added.
