Mobile advertising leader, LeadBolt, today announced a world first for mobile advertising by utilising gyroscope technology to capture user responses with their new Audio Ads. Audio Ads combine display, audio and a gyroscopic trigger to enhance user engagement and move the display ad experience beyond the limitations of the mobile screen.

Innovative mobile advertising network, LeadBolt, today released the World’s first response advertisement triggered by the gyroscope technology on Android smartphones.

The new functionality combines display advertising with an audible call to ‘shake your phone’ in order to respond to the advertisement. Pre-release testing has shown huge performance benefits with user response rates up to 600% higher than standard display ads. Early indicators are that the added sensory involvement is drawing in users and the innovative call to action is more seamless with their current activities.
