Situated in the Scottish coastal town of Irvine stands a 48-sheet billboard advertising the Seamill Hydro’s ‘Best Festive Family Day Out’. Managed by Out Of Home International, the promotional site will be present throughout December in support of the festival’s on-going events and attractions.
Marked by a Christmas-themed red background, the billboard draws attention to the Seamill Hydro Hotel and Resort with photographs of Santa’s Grotto and a 30m Snow Slide, combined with festive white typography listing a collection of attractions and celebrity appearances. Positioned locally, the large outdoor display will grab the attention of its relevant audience, delivering coverage all day, every day.
The programme includes permanent family attractions, such as ‘Rudolph’s Playroom’ and a stunning Magical Carousel ride, combined with a schedule of bookable events such as ‘Party Nights’, a Christmas Day Carvery, and various pantomimes. BBC Radio personality Scott Mills will appear for a special 1st December Party Night occasion, with various additional themed evenings overflowing through into January.
Also referenced on the advert is Canadian comedy man Tom Stade, who has racked up some impressive credentials with an escalating list of TV appearances including Mock The Week, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow , and guest starring in The Boyle variety performance in August 2012.
