A new taste for the holidays inspired by Chef Alison Price Becker

Walkers Shortbread, the beloved family-owned bakery from the Scottish Highlands, has teamed up with Alison Price Becker, Executive Chef of the restaurant Alison Eighteen in Chelsea, Manhattan to create a Crunchy Ginger Pear Bread Pudding, a show stopping desert idea perfect for the holiday table.

Becker will be featured cooking with Walkers Shortbread on the popular Time Warner Cable television show, A Taste of New York, on Wednesday, November 28th at 7 p.m. on Channel 79 in New York City. Millions of viewers regularly tune in to A Taste of New York to find out about the most exciting entertainment, dining and travel trends in America’s most dynamic city. The segment will feature Allison Price Becker preparing an easy-to-make, mouth-watering holiday recipe she developed, called “Crunchy Ginger Pear Bread Pudding,” using Walkers’ all-natural, real Stem Ginger Biscuits.

Viewers can tune in and learn how to make the recipe on Wednesday, November 28th on Channel 79, with additional airings on December 5, 12, and 19.
