Pearson Expands MyLab Learning Products Globally

Pearson, the world’s leading learning company, today announces the release of a new range of online homework, tutorial and assessment learning products for higher education. Designed for blended or distance learning, the products will be available under the well-known MyLab and Mastering brand and have been tailored to meet the needs of local curricula around the world.

Ten million students in the US and in more than 20 countries already use our MyLab products to learn and test themselves with a range of disciplines in English as well as to learn English. Twelve local-language regional versions of Pearson MyLab are set to launch in 2013, enabling engaging, dynamic learning and teaching opportunities for students and lecturers.

These new products represent Pearson’s commitment to making a measurable difference to learning outcomes for students, educators and education systems globally. The new MyLab products will join existing local-language higher education products from Pearson, including MyMathLab in five languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French and German) and e-book offerings in a range of languages.

The new MyLab products will be available in the following languages and subjects in 2013:

  •     Kotler: Essentials of Marketing (in Dutch)
  •     Sloman: Principles of Economics (in French)
  •     Snyder: Fluency (in Italian)
  •     Pindyck and Rubinfield: Microeconomics (in German)
  •     Weil: Economic Growth (in Japanese)
  •     Peñalosa: Teaching Strategies with IT (in Spanish)
  •     Pindyck and Rubinfield: Microeconomics (in Korean)
  •     Robbins: Management (in Chinese)
  •     Multiple engineering courses for India

Pearson, will be showcasing their multilingual online homework, tutorial and assessment learning products at their stand at Online Educa, the world’s largest learning technology conference, in Berlin this November 28-30th, with demos and trainers on hand to answer any questions.
