MSW Communications Group hired in anticipation of increased public interest surrounding litigation involving Atlanta Falcons Tight-End Tony Gonzalez

Scilabs Nutraceuticals, a dietary supplement manufacturer, has retained MSW Communications Group to handle public relations in their ongoing high profile litigation with Atlanta Falcons' tight end and NFL Future Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez. The suit, filed in California Superior Court, alleges that Gonzalez breached several long-standing contractual agreements with Scilabs.

MSW Communications Group has been involved in numerous prominent litigation communications efforts, including the Worldcom debarment matter, actions brought against principals in the Enron case, and in litigation filed against the makers of Botox by the wife of a Hollywood mogul.

The case is progressing with discovery uncovering more relevant details damaging to Mr. Gonzalez's case.

Scilabs's complaint, filed in Orange County Superior Court case number 30-2001-00526093-CU-BC-CJC, also accuses Tony Gonzalez of alleged oppression, fraud or malice under Section 3294 of the California Civil Code, and asks for punitive damages as well as attorney's fees and other costs associated with filing a lawsuit.
