Team Cyborg Reapers
The junior high student team exemplifies the inventive spirit that has made America great.
Santa Clara, CA (PRWEB) November 29, 2012
PowerPatent announces that Cyborg-Reaper, a team of students from Redwood Middle School in Saratoga, California, won first place in the FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) 2012 Qualifying Tournament held at the GooglePlex.
In addition to coming up with a winning robot design that will benefit persons with disabilities, the student team used ProvisionalBuilder® to capture, diagnose, and format a ready-to-file patent. Team members have published a Youtube video that explains the team’s research and their first exposure to the patenting process.
PowerPatent is proud to have made its patent workflow software available to the team. “The junior high student team exemplifies the inventive spirit that has made America great. Historically, what frustrates inventors and small businesses is the potentially expensive and lengthy process of defining and writing a patent. There is a clear need for this technology to address the first inventor to file requirement under the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act,” said Bao Tran, CEO and Founder of PowerPatent Inc.
