Jordan Rhodes has been on fire for his team Blackburn in the Champions this month, helping them move steadily up the league table. He has amassed four goals and one assist so far in November. Scoring three of those goals against struggler’s Peterborough and providing the assist for the first goal in that match.
At only 22 years of age it looks as though Rhodes will go on to have a bright future, if he can keep us his goal scoring heroics.
Wilfried Zaha has been the talk of the town, and for good reason. The 20-year-old has put in some dazzling displays for Championship high flyers Crystal Palace and was also voted last months PFA Fans' Championship Player of the Month, as well as earning himself a call up to the England senior team and featuring against Sweden in an international friendly.
The statistics don't tell the whole story this month though, with Zaha getting two assists to help his team win four of their last six encounters. Using his pace and skill to beat opposition defenders and provide killer balls for his team mates to knock in the back of the net.
Burnley's 23-year-old striker Charlie Austin has been instrumental The Clarets this month, scoring three goals including a vital winner against Leeds United and a goal against Barnsley to ensure his team went away from Oakwell with a point.
Austin was also a hot contender for last months award but was pipped at the post by Wilfried Zaha.
Football League One contenders:
Tranmere Rovers find themselves top of League One after a prolific month. With two wins, two draws and an FA Cup – First round victory over Braintree Town, Tranmere are looking to have a successful season under Ronnie Moore.
Jake Cassidy played every league game this month for Tranmere Rovers, and his 11 goals has helped Tranmere cement themselves as top of League One. The on loan Wolves starlet has continuted his fine form from last month and his consistent displays have given Ronnie Moore something to smile about.
Having only lost one game throughout the month – the driving force behind Tranmeres success has been the likes of Cassidy showing fantastic, mature displays.
Leon Clarke is joint top goal scorer of League One. He finds himself on par with Jake Cassidy with 11 league goals this season. His four goals in November have been a bright spark in what has been a turbulent campaign so far.
Scunthorpe find themselves 23rd in League One – but knowing they can look to Leon Clarke to score goals for the side, they will have every belief that they continue to be a League One football club.
David McGoldrick scored 4 league goals this month and finds himself right at the top end of the League One goal scoring charts. Coventry are having a mediocre campaign so far and thanks to McGoldrick's goals they can enjoy a 15th place position.
Coventry have heavily relied on the the centre forward, who's 13 goals in all competitions has been the brightest part of Coventry's current campaign.
Football League Two contenders:
Gillingham are currently top of the table in League Two after a difficult month. Although drawing 3 of their five league games, and losing one, many fans were surprised that Gillingham were able to maintain their league position. However, a 4-0 drubbing of Scunthorpe in the FA Cup can help them look back at the month with a smile. Currently top of the League and through to the next stages of the FA Cup, Martin Allen will be pleased with how his side's current campaign is going..
Tom Pope's five goals in November has seen his side compete with Gillingham for the number one spot in the League. With his five goals, Pope became the quickest player in Port Vale's history to score 20 goals in a season.
His hatrick against a struggling Bristol Rovers and brace against Rochdale has ensured that he remained top in the League Two Top Scorer chart.
Adebayo Akinfenwa's seven goals last month has seen his stock rise, as well as his position in the League Two Goal Scorer charts. On 12 for the season now, Akinfenwa has helped his side rise to tenth in the League Two table.
Adrian Boothroyd will no doubt envisage a play-off spot for his side, as they look to continute their fight for League One Football.
Kevan Hurst scored one goal and earnt 5 assists for Southend this month. His consistent displays have helped his side reach fifth in League Two and a play-off spot looks likely. Southend went unbeaten throughout the month as their impressive form continues to leave opposing fans in awe of their style.
A 3-0 victory over Stockport in the FA Cup has seen Paul Sturrock's side end the month in terrific form. With four wins and a draw in the League – Southend will be keen to continute this type of form which could see them sore up the League and perhaps into League One football.
