By learning about the needs of local organizations, the Busted! Grid is able to create tools that are beneficial in helping solve problems

Busted! Grid, the leading innovator in the aggregation of crime information, recently participated in the Texas Crime Stoppers Annual Conference held in New Braunfels. Over 400 representatives from Crime Stoppers programs across the state attended the three-day event to get their required annual training and learn more about the prevention of crime. By participating in the event, team members from the Busted! Grid were able to build strong relationships with attendees and better understand their needs.
“Having a presence at the event was critical for the Busted! Grid because like Crime Stoppers representatives, we are committed to preventing and solving crimes,” says Kyle Prall, founder of BustedMugshots.com and Busted! Grid. "“By learning about the needs of local organizations, the Busted! Grid is able to create tools that are beneficial in helping solve problems."
The Texas Crime Stoppers Conference gives attendees the opportunity to share ideas and introduce new, more effective procedures. Speaking sessions this year included cyber security, security threat identification and recognition, crime initiatives, child abuse cases, and more. Crime Stoppers programs are designed to assist law enforcement by utilizing the media to encourage tipsters to participate in solving crimes. All information is anonymous and tipsters that provide helpful information can get cash rewards for their efforts.
At the event, the Busted! Grid met with Crime Stoppers representatives from local organizations introducing them personally to the Busted! Grid platform. Discovering that law enforcement agencies needed help with their Most Wanted awareness efforts, the Busted! Grid began developing Busted! Most Wanted, a tool to assist law enforcement agencies publish and syndicate information about local fugitives on the Internet. The service will help generate tips regarding crimes and expand the exposure of local Most Wanted lists to the Busted! Grid's national audience in real-time.
“The Busted! Grid is committed to creating tools that help law enforcement become more efficient,” says Prall. “One big issue we kept hearing about is the need for greater awareness of local organization’s Most Wanted initiatives. We are currently developing a platform to assist with getting this information to the masses. By improving the visibility of their Most Wanted lists across the Internet and social media, we can increase the number of leads generated and improve chances of catching fugitives.”
