Having a warm set of pajamas and a bedtime story is an integral part of the bedtime process for young children to settle down and get ready for sleep.
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) November 30, 2012
Kim Schaf, M.A.T., Founder and President of Chicago-based Sleep Training Solutions, is giving back to the community with a donation of new pajamas and bedtime books to the Pajama Program for every new client between December 1-21, 2012. Schaf will also be accepting independent donations from community members and businesses.
"Having a warm set of pajamas and a bedtime story is an integral part of the bedtime process for young children to settle down and get ready for sleep," said Schaf. "With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it's so important to remember the true joy of giving back to the community and helping those less fortunate." Schaf will make a donation for every new client in the first three weeks of December, whether they live in the Chicago area or out-of-state.
The Pajama Program is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, founded in 2001, and currently has 63 chapters in 40 states. "So many children are without warm bedtime clothing and education so we developed a creative program to provide some of both,” said Genevieve Piturro, Founder and Executive Director of the Pajama Program. "We intend to make a difference – giving back is what it’s all about.” The receiving organizations of the pajamas and books are shelters, group homes, and temporary housing situations and help children who have been abandoned, abused or neglected.
