JMR Graphics, Nationwide Car Wraps Manufacturer, comments on Arlington, Virginia’s Innovative Anti-Drunk Driving Initiative.

On November 30, 2012, Nationwide Car Wraps Manufacturer, JMR Graphics, commented on Arlington, Virginia’s new half-taxi, half-cop car public/private initiative to curb the amount of drunk driving that goes on in the area.

According to an article on, “The vehicle has been nicknamed the ‘Chooser Cruiser’ because it reminds people that they have choices for getting home after drinking — in the back of a taxi or in the back of a police car.”

TJ Pannell, a JMR Graphics representative, states, “This is a great way to advertise how choices affect your life. The front of the car looks like a standard police car, back looks like a taxi.” Pannell says “there’s no way that you can’t understand the message. ‘Take a taxi-ride or take a ride downtown. The choice is yours.’ Parking it by the bars is a great strategy, too. You have a graphic that is sobering for the target demographic.”
