The Site Analytics section includes a table of the number of visitors currently on the website, how many there were today, the site’s current conversion rate, the type of visitors (Bounced, Interested, Engaged or Converted), and a graph of visitor trends for today, the past 7 days, the past 30 days, or the past 60 days complete with their corresponding time of day.
Page Analytics displays page specific visitor rates, number of views and top pages.
Next to that, Traffic Sources lay out page specific statistics like number of visitors on specific pages, where these visitors are coming from and the type of users.
As a visual compliment to this data, and found on the right most section of the toolbar, a suite of advanced website heatmaps with scroll, mouse movement, click and live click images overlay transparently atop the website. These easily manageable illustrations of visitor activity let a webmaster see user behavior on their site.
Using a scroll heatmap allows a webmaster to understand where the folds in their site lie. Different levels of red are accompanied by numbers of views and percentage of people who have scrolled—which gives accurate landing page statistics that illustrates scrolling behavior.
A mouse movement heatmap uses eye tracking technology to let a webmaster see exactly where users are focusing. A visitor’s mouse movements are recorded and images of activity are created using a variety of colors with ‘white hot’ as the most active.
Rounding off the suite are two types of click heatmaps. A Click heatmap, which shows where users are clicking and a live click heatmap that shows that data as it happens in real-time. Objects like images, text, links and even open spaces are all recorded with a custom time option of Today or 7 Day. Hotspots of activity let a webmaster instantly see where they can improve, add or delete objects.
