New York, NY (PRWEB) December 04, 2012
Hudson Crossing, a strategy and execution advisory firm devoted to helping clients raise the financial performance of their assets in industries ranging from travel and hospitality to financial services and technology, announces the addition of industry veteran Henry Harteveldt to the Hudson Crossing team.
“Henry is widely known as one of the Travel Industry’s brightest strategists and analysts. Henry’s deep experience in research and consulting as well as his analytic fire power will deliver immediate value to Hudson Crossing’s clients,” said Hudson Crossing Chairman Tom Christopoul.
“Since our inception in 2007 we have built a strong, trusted brand by delivering innovative yet practical advice to our clients. By rolling up our sleeves and working side by side with our client’s teams we have ensured successful execution of their strategies. Henry joins Hudson Crossing having established a reputation as a true travel industry expert and a reliable source for critical industry data and analytics. For years Henry has provided trusted advice and industry analysis to travel industry players, leading media companies and the financial community. Henry’s research, analysis and consulting skills will be a great asset to our team, further strengthening our ability to deliver value to an even broader set of clients” said Andy Hermo, a Hudson Crossing founding Partner. Hermo added “it is our vision to be the leading source of insights and execution that directly impact profits and growth in the industries we serve. Henry’s addition is another big step as we implement our strategy for growth and solidify our position as the leading consultancy in our chosen practice areas.”
Prior to joining Hudson, Harteveldt led the travel industry worldwide consulting and research practice at Forrester Research and, more recently, co-founded Atmosphere Research Group. Throughout his distinguished career, Harteveldt has either worked for or provided consulting and research to some of the worlds leading hotel brands, airlines, online travel agencies, global distribution systems and key industry associations. Harteveldt is widely regarded as a trusted “voice of the travel industry” and is arguably one of the most frequently and widely quoted analysts in the industry.
Coincident with Harteveldt’s arrival, Tom Botts will assume a senior marketing role with Denihan Hospitality Group while retaining a position on Hudson’s Advisory Board. “Tom is incredibly excited about returning to an operational role with broad responsibility for brand, sales, marketing, revenue management and distribution for a great portfolio of hotels. We are excited for Tom, congratulate him on his new appointment, and look forward to Tom’s continued input as a Hudson Crossing Advisory Board member,” said Hermo.
