Marketing firm has helped over 70 firms in past 10 years through its 24 hour creative services marathon.

Ten years is a big milestone for us and we couldn’t have done it without all of our amazing volunteers, and all the great people who’ve supported us – Alison Judah, President of Hypno Design, Inc.

Hypno Design, Inc., a creative services agency based in Moorestown, N.J., celebrated 10 years of service to non-profits through its annual CreateAthon® event. Held each October, CreateAthon is a 24-hour opportunity for Hypno to bring together local non-profits and creative professionals to produce marketing campaigns and materials, free of charge.
The 24-hour creative services marathon began October 18th when a team of volunteer Art Directors, Designers, Web Developers, and Copy Writers developed new ads, websites, logos, brochures, and more to supply 10 non-profit groups with materials to help their marketing, communications, and fund-raising efforts.

This 10th anniversary year, Hypno selected double the number of non-profits to reflect the decade milestone. These 10 organizations bring Hypno’s total to a staggering 70 non-profits the Moorestown firm has helped through the CreateAthon program.

The non-profit organizations selected for CreateAthon this year include: The Arc of Cape May, The Women's Solo Project, Orchard Friends School, Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center, Feast of Justice, BalletX, Singing City, Virtual Tutoring & Mentoring, Philadelphia Physicians for Social Responsibility, and Perkins Center for the Arts.

“In times when it seems that the value of our mission - to promote social responsibility by protecting health, the environment and communities through education, training, direct service and advocacy - matters little to those outside our circle, it is wholly refreshing to encounter endeavors like CreateAthon and firms like Hypno Design. In offering their talents to organizations like ours, the "creators" at CreateAthon not only support our mission, but further and deepen it and demonstrate their own commitment to building a better world,” said Cherie Eichholz, Executive Director of Physicians for Social Responsibility

Hypno’s CreateAthon 2012 produced more than 35 projects for the organizations selected with an estimated market value of more than $172,500. “I can’t believe it’s been ten years already. It’s an honor to reach this point, having worked with so many non-profits who make our world a better place, and provide very important resources for so many people. Ten years is a big milestone for us and we couldn’t have done it without all of our amazing volunteers, and all the great people who’ve supported us,” said Alison Judah, President of Hypno Design, Inc. In ten years, the total value of the work produced is estimated to be over $2 Million.

The non-profits also received free printing from a generous partner. Special thanks goes to Rich and Vivian Lewis of Burlington Press who donated all the printing for this year’s CreateAThon and the previous 5 years before it; assuring all the non-profits received the final version of the work beautifully printed and ready to be put to good use. The printed pieces were delivered to the non-profits at the wrap-up “Pajama Party” held at Hypno in November. Just as one example of their generosity, Burlington Press printed as many as 9000 direct mail annual appeal campaign pieces for one of the 10 organizations they helped this year. Over $12,500 in printing was donated in all.

CreateAthon’s scope reached a national level in 2002, led by Riggs Partners, the group that started it all in North Carolina. This year is Rigg’s 15th anniversary for CreateAThon. More than 75 advertising and marketing firms across North America and Canada have participated in the CreateAthon® network in the past 15 years holding the 24-hour creative marathons in their respective markets.
