If anyone knows how to lead and execute a mission, it's Lt. General Russel Honoré, USA (Ret.), who arrived in a Hurricane Katrina-battered New Orleans in 2005 and saved a city by taking swift charge of military relief efforts.
The Espinosa Group adds Lt. General Honoré to its management team as a disaster consultant in an effort to help rebuild the storm-ravaged Jersey shore in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
Drawing on his 37 years of military experience, Gen. Honoré now brings his bold, no-nonsense leadership approach to the task of organizing and managing the massive reconstruction task ahead for New Jersey homes and businesses.
“General Honoré years of experience in disaster relief will allow The Espinosa Group to bring an exceptional level of service New Jersey residents in the midst of this trying time” states the organization’s president, Michael Espinosa.
In addition to his role as Commander of Joint Task Force Katrina, Gen. Honoré is a CNN Preparedness Contributor, senior scientist with Gallup, Emory University adjunct professor, an Independent Director of Crawford & Company, the world's largest independent claims management company and was appointed Chairman of the Board for La Bicentennial Commission. Also a board member with the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation, he is the author of Survival: How a Culture of Preparedness Can Save You and Your Family from Disasters and the new book Leadership in the New Normal, which details how to be an effective leader in the 21st century.
