We provide cell phones so our birth mothers feel comfortable in knowing they can call one of our support staff for help at any time

The Adoption Center, an agency specializing in infant adoptions, now provides food, fully-furnished apartments, and other necessities to birth mothers in its program. With the goal of making pregnancy, birth and the adoption process as comfortable as possible, cell phones are now provided to birth mothers so they can stay in constant contact with The Adoption Center's support network.

With communication being a top priority for The Adoption Center, every birth mother in the program is contacted once per day or more by trained professionals. The Adoption Center's staffers typically meet with birth mothers in person, giving them much-needed personal contact, which is critical in the adoption process.

“We do everything we can to make the birth mother comfortable during her stay with us. And if we discover something is needed that is not on our list, our staff goes to work to provide it.” says James Webb, Founder and CEO of The Adoption Center. “We provide cell phones so our birth mothers feel comfortable in knowing they can call one of our support staff for help at any time.”

Rhonda W. from Texas had high praise for The Adoption Center, saying “There were a number of times during my stay that I just needed to talk to someone. I always felt comfortable calling the support staffers, who were always available to talk with me. They made my journey through this difficult time manageable.”

Birth mothers are encouraged to contact The Adoption Center for a confidential conversation with one of the professional staff members, who will answer any questions and provide additional information about the program, as needed.
