Employers are becoming more confident in the market and are increasing hiring to keep up with demand.

National employment trends and a widely anticipated increase in staffing industry revenue project an optimistic view of hiring in 2013. Nectir, an emerging network of staffing firms headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is joining staffing firms nationwide in reporting growth.

“Nectir is expanding across the country because of increased demand,” says Abid Abedi, CEO and Founder of Nectir. “We are optimistic about 2013 and are confident we will continue to grow.”

Data from the U.S. staffing industry, which is respected as a gauge for the job market, is pointing to a rosier picture for next year. Staffing Industry Analysts reports that in 2013, staffing revenue is expected to hit nearly $135 billion, exceeding pre-recession revenue levels. Forecasters conservatively estimate that the U.S. will add at least nearly 143,500 jobs per month next year.

These projections come on the heels of a good year for the staffing industry. A recent survey of employers from CareerBuilder projects hiring levels that mirror our pre-recession economy. By the end of 2012, industry experts estimate that staffing revenue will have expanded by approximately 10 percent this year.

Industry expansion is also expected to continue throughout the coming years. During economic recoveries, employers historically rely on staffing firms. Businesses turn to staffing vendors to manage personnel costs, as firms provide flexible staffing options and reduce employment costs such as payrolling and benefits spending.

Nectir provides its local franchise owners and branch managers with back-office support, infrastructure, recruiting services, payroll funding and market support so that its managers and partners can directly focus on client-related activities. Professionals who have worked in the staffing field or contact-rich industries such as the manufacturing, human resources, technology, transportation or automotive arenas are a strong possible match for franchise ownership.

“We remain bullish on hiring heading into 2013,” adds Abedi. “Employers are becoming more confident in the market and are increasing hiring to keep up with demand.”
