During 2012 Cowgirl has brought entertainment in virtually every single night of the week, much to the delight of both locals and visitors from out of town. Felix y Los Gatos is an Albuquerque based roots band Santa Fe Reporter readers ranked 2nd best rock band in Santa Fe, NM. The band has been featured on 89.1KANW, 94ROCK, 89.9KUNM, 98.1KBAC, 101.1KFSR. We are currently playing at St Clairs Winery, Zinc, Scalos, OneUp, Savoy, Monte Vista Firestation, Route66 Casino, Cowgirl, El Farol, Tin Star, Evangelo’s, Santa Fe Band Stand, BuffaloThunder Resort and Casino, Taos Inn, as far north as Telluride "Telluride Blues Fest", Denver, CO and south by way of Tuscon, Arizona. The band has played at Thirsty Ear Festival and the Taos music festival and it has opened up for the likes of "Big Bad VooDoo Daddy, FishBone, Dikki Du &the Zydeco Crew, Wayne The Train Hancock, Beausoleil, Ozomatli, and many others" On the band’s most recent CD "Green Chili Gumbo", Grammy Award winner John Popper of Blues Traveler made a guest appearance on the track "Hot Damn".

Since 1993 the Cowgirl, which now occupies almost the entire block where it started, includes a restaurant, a billiard parlor, a commercial catering kitchen and several private party rooms. The patio is one of the most inviting summertime venues for locals and tourists alike and the Cowgirl has become a local institution.
