Nuneaton: Data in the latest Duport Business Confidence Report for Nuneaton, which was released on Monday 3rd December, shows that the town is ahead of the UK as whole when it comes to company formation.
Figures in the report show that during the third quarter of the year there were 133 new companies registered in Nuneaton, representing a new record for the town and a 22% rise on the same period last year. By contrast, the UK saw just 4% rise in company formation during Q3.
The report also reveals that company closures are falling in Nuneaton, with a decrease of 11% during the third quarter, when compared to last year. Again, the town is well ahead of the UK, which actually saw a 3.5% increase in company closures between July and September.
