This fantastic new policy extends to UK trips and events the high-quality, low-cost cover we are already providing to customers with our Europe and worldwide travel insurance.
(PRWEB UK) 4 December 2012
The new policy covers days out, short breaks and attending events within the UK. Customers can purchase it as an add-on to Direct Travel's annual multi-trip insurance.
Taking out the UK Day and Break Cover means individuals and families can claim for pre-paid tickets, accommodation, travel expenses, activities or entertainment if they have to cancel or cut short a trip or event.
Whether they have booked for the Cup Final or the Grand National, the Albert Hall or the O2, rollercoasters or a sunbed, wild Scotland or elegant Oxford, the new UK policy offers cover if plans are disrupted.
With summer festivals, a much-hyped gig, landmark birthday celebration, special anniversary, romantic getaway or big sporting event, there are many occasions where cover could prove useful. Direct Travel's cheap travel insurance offers great benefits (per person):
- Cancelling a trip or day out. Including any pre-paid accommodation, travel, activities or entertainment: up to £1,000
- Cutting a trip short: up to £1,000
- Abandoning a trip or day out: up to £1,000
- Breakdown (own vehicle): up to £100
