Glendora, CA (PRWEB) December 04, 2012
Bryan Clay is proud to announce his participation in this Sunday’s Honolulu Marathon. After devoting months of training with his wife, Sarah Clay, Bryan has decided to run alongside her in this quest. Bryan wants to show her the support that she’s shown him over the past decade and feels that succeeding in this undertaking with her is one way to show his appreciation.
“I’m running the marathon with my wife, Sarah because she’s spent the last 12 years supporting me while I tried to reach my dreams. I think it’s only fair that I return the favor and support her in something she’s always wanted to do,” replied Bryan when asked why he would be participating.
In addition to supporting Sarah himself, Bryan’s corporate sponsors have stepped in to show their support of the Olympian’s wife. ZICO Coconut Water is helping to keep her hydrated while ASICS is making sure she’s outfitted in the most comfortable running gear, and Oakley has stepped in to ensure Sarah has a premium pair of sunglasses to shield her eyes from the Hawaii sun.
Bryan will be spending several days in Honolulu leading up to the marathon sharing his story with the city. He will participate in a book signing for his autobiography “Redemption” at the Sports Authority on Ward Avenue, sponsored by Logos Bookstore & the Sports Authority on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 11am to 1pm.
