Investigators at London Private Investigator announce anti vandalism services in light of a recent article published in Mail Online by Dean O'Hare 4th December 2012: Town's £10,000 Metal Christmas Tree Pulled Down Just an Hour After Lights Were Switched on Over Fears Vandals Could be Electrocuted

We offer anti vandalism services which include CCTV security cameras and security personnel who could patrol the area but even with this level of security the vandal would not need much time before they were electrocuted

Emmerdale's Ross Adam switched on the Christmas tree lights at Durham town's Christmas festival only to have them switched off again and taken down an hour later. The beautiful 8ft metal tree, which cost £10,000, was removed for fear of electrocuting somebody. Bosses from Stanley Town Council pulled the plug after it was realised that the 240 volt metal tree was ten times the health and safety electrics limit.

According to the article the tree was bought six weeks before the grand switch on on Saturday but the instructions were in French, however this was not believed to be the oversight. When council workers were erecting the tree it was realised that it was not safe so they fenced it off for the duration of the event and then it was dismantled. Many disappointed shop keepers have voiced their opinions including Elizabeth Cajioa, owner of Jakes Hairdressing on Front street, who said:

“I'm not really surprised. I didn't think it would last, some people in Stanley might have vandalised it first”.

Durham County Councillor Carl Marshall, who helped organise the event said:

“The tree was metal and covered in LEDs. If anyone was to open up a junction box or was messing about with it then there was a good risk that they would not just get a little shock. It would be a fatality.”
London Private Investigator are often approached by members of the public and business owners who ask about anti vandalism services and other preventative measures they can take.

A spokesperson from London Private Investigator said:
“ This could have been disastrous for anyone wishing to vandalise or tamper with the tree or the lighting equipment. Although it is a great shame for all the people involved I believe the council made the right decision to remove the tree. We offer anti vandalism services which include CCTV security cameras and security personnel who could patrol the area but even with this level of security the vandal would not need much time before they were electrocuted.”
