PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens will have its Arts and Craft Festival on Dec. 8.

Most of the artists come back each year, and, of course, the event grows, and we are joined by wonderful new artists and crafters.

JUPITER, Fla. (PRWEB) December 05, 2012

Beautiful handmade items from the area’s best artisans and crafters will fill Masters Park at PGA National on Dec. 8 when the seventh-annual Arts & Crafts Festival takes place.

Items available for wish-list-carrying guests include custom jewelry, colorful paintings, garden art, wearable art, children’s clothing, children’s toys, home accessories, scented candles and organic soaps. Sculpture and photography also will be on display.

The vendors will be set up on the grassy area of the eight-acre park at the corner of Ryder Cup Boulevard and Avenue of the Masters, south of most of the neighborhoods and homes in PGA National. Guests can stroll along the crushed limerock path and shop.

“The park has a beautiful, crushed shell-rock path that meanders through various gardens, and the artists’ tents are set up on each side of the path,” explained Dawn Levinstein, property manager for the PGA Property Owners Association. “If you get tired, you can stop at a bench or arbor and rest – or explore your purchases – then stroll on.”

The country-rock group Cecilia Lauren and the Ocoee River Band will be onstage for the entire day, playing its blend of genres. Cecilia Lauren and the Ocoee River Band have played the festival for three years.

“Most of the artists come back each year, and, of course, the event grows, and we are joined by wonderful new artists and crafters,” Levinstein said.

Food vendors also will be onhand at the festival, providing barbecue and other types of fare, as well as drinks. A large tent with benches and tables will be set up so guests can eat lunch. The Palm Beach Gardens event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free, and so is parking.

“This is the best-kept secret in Palm Beach County, and we are now sharing the secret,” Levinstein said.
