The Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix’s Major League Baseball team, has selected the inMotion Workflow Automation Solution to help manage their creative production process so that they could support ticket sales with timely advertising and promotional content.
The Arizona Diamondbacks are using inMotion to manage their approval process and track the status of all their projects including ballpark signage, television commercials, local print ads in their hometown and regional newspapers and magazines, and outdoor advertising on billboards and bus stops.
“I was tasked with finding ways to increase productivity and efficiency in the creative department,” says Jonathan Willey, Senior Manager of Multimedia Productions for the Arizona Diamondbacks. “Looking at our workflow, it was clear that the biggest opportunity for improvement was in proofing and project tracking.”

By registering for the inMotion Pilot Program, the Arizona Diamondbacks were able to test drive the application, setting up rules-based workflows to route proofs through the approval process automatically. With their proofing process now online, the creative services department could track projects as they were reviewed, and begin to see immediate time-savings and faster project cycles.
“It was critical that any solution we implemented be simple to manage so that I could let my designers focus on design,” says Willey. “inMotion was simple to use not only for my team but also for the other departments in the organization, who love how much easier it is to provide feedback with the online review interface.”
The Arizona Diamondbacks also are looking forward to furthering their usage of inMotion’s workflow automation and templating capabilities, as well as implementing the application’s creative brief management module, Job Launch.
