Inspira, as part of its parent company ABG Capital, has been recognized as one of the best places to work in Pennsylvania. The company achieved the 14th spot on the list of 71 small and medium employers in the state, according to the 13th annual Best Places to Work in PA awards program.

In addition to this honor, ABG Capital and Inspira were also recognized locally on the Pittsburgh Business Times' list of Best Places to Work in Western Pennsylvania.

The Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania program was created by four entities: Central Penn Business Journal, Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Team Pennsylvania Foundation, and Best Companies Group.

This program evaluates and ranks the best places of employment in the State based on employee satisfaction and engagement, as well as workplace practices and policies. To be considered for this award, employers complete a Benefits and Policies Questionnaire while employees complete Engagement and Satisfaction Surveys. Once this information is collected, Best Companies Group then sorts and interprets the data to determine company rankings.

“It’s an honor to be ranked near the top of this outstanding group of companies in our state,” said Lowell Smith, President of Inspira. “To know that 75% of our ranking is based on employee responses and feedback shows that we’re doing something right.”

The rankings were announced Thursday, November 29th at an awards ceremony at the Lancaster County Convention Center. Additionally, the ranked companies will be profiled in a supplement to the Central Penn Business Journal and other business journals across the state.

Inspira was founded in 2002 and is the retirement industry’s low-cost Automatic Rollover provider.
