StudioLiveTV, a unique fitness industry service provider that features live streaming and on demand yoga, group fitness and personal training classes via custom web portals designed specifically for studios and clubs, is set to host “Fitness for Action” to benefit several charities that are providing relief to those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
StudioLiveTV's Fitness for Action is providing fitness enthusiasts around the world with an opportunity to support the Sandy Relief effort. Participants will be able to choose to give to one of three featured charities when they sign up to take a donated yoga or group exercise class on the Fitness for Action portal.
Fitness for Action will start with popular local New Jersey and New York yoga and fitness instructors who will donate their time and expertise to the cause. StudioLiveTV is encouraging other instructors, studios and clubs (throughout the nation) to donate classes to the Fitness for Action Sandy Relief effort. Classes can be filmed and uploaded to the Fitness for Action portal for on-demand viewing, and the StudioLiveTV team will also work with all instructors, studios or clubs to coordinate as needed.
In conjunction with the upcoming “Off the Mat, Into New Jersey event, Fitness for Action has come together with event partners Yoga Vibes, YogaGlo, Off the Mat and into the World, exhale mind body spa, Atlantic City Alliance , Live. Breathe. Grow. and Yoganonymous. Through these partnerships, viewings of some wonderful classes for a donation are being offered from Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Elisabeth Halfpapp, Fred DeVito and Cristi Christensen, The Fitness for Action campaign will spread across Facebook, Twitter and other social networks to encourage participation and donation to the Sandy Relief effort.
On December 22nd, StudioLiveTV is honored to be a partner in "Off the Mat Into New Jersey" event and will be streaming it live for donation on the Fitness for Action portal. Off the Mat Into New Jersey will be held at the Atlantic City Convention Center from 12 to 3 p.m. EST and will feature New Jersey’s own popular yoga instructor Seane Corn, Elisabeth Halfpapp and Fred DeVito from exhale, Beryl Bender Birch from the Hard & the Soft Yoga Institute and other exceptional instructors from the tri-state area. Those who cannot attend in this event person will be able to participate, watch the event live and donate virtually via the Fitness for Action portal.
