Baron and Budd, a national law firm known for its success represented clients with mesothelioma, is proud to be a 2013 platinum-level sponsor of the Ninth Annual International Asbestos Awareness Conference of the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO). The ADAO conference will take place March 22-24 in Arlington, Va. ADAO’s annual conference, titled “The Asbestos Crisis: New Trends in Prevention and Treatment,” provides an open forum for leading mesothelioma doctors, global asbestos advocates, asbestos and mesothelioma patients and caregivers to increase awareness about the health risks of asbestos exposure, advocate for an international ban on asbestos use and discuss recent advancements in mesothelioma treatment.
Sessions covered at the conference will include how to prevent asbestos exposure in the workplace and home, community resources for mesothelioma patients and caregivers, the role of global advocacy against asbestos use and medical breakthroughs for diagnosing mesothelioma in the early stages and effectively treating mesothelioma and other asbestos diseases.
“We are absolutely thrilled that Baron and Budd will be supporting our work again this year as a platinum sponsor,” said Linda Reinstein, CEO/co-founder of ADAO and mesothelioma widow. “Because of Baron and Budd’s generous donation, ADAO can continue to grow its mission of raising awareness, advocating for an asbestos ban and helping to find a cure for mesothelioma.
