“Our partnership with Culligan International has been vital when we need to get the essentials, such as water, to those affected by disasters,” said Hal Donaldson, president of Convoy of Hope.
Springfield, Missouri (PRWEB) December 05, 2012
Culligan International continued its partnership with Convoy of Hope by donating 125,000 bottles of water for distribution in storm ravaged areas of New York and New Jersey.
“Hurricane Sandy was a devastating event for our friends, colleagues and customers on the East Coast,” said Curt Hilliard, senior vice president of marketing at Culligan International. “Culligan International quickly took action working through our long-time partner, Convoy of Hope, to provide approximately 125,000 bottles of Culligan water for those displaced by the storm, as well as first responders and volunteers. Clean drinking water is a basic human necessity. Water supplies can be, and often are, disrupted and contaminated in these situations.”
Convoy of Hope distributed the water to storm survivors in multiple communities. “Our partnership with Culligan International has been vital when we need to get the essentials, such as water, to those affected by disasters,” said Hal Donaldson, president of Convoy of Hope.
“Culligan International, and its nearly 650 dedicated and capable dealers, actively support these efforts in the communities we serve,” said Larry Holzman, senior vice president of franchise at Culligan International. “Additionally, we support the good work done by Convoy of Hope to help ensure people have access to the best quality drinking water in the event of a disaster and all year-round.”
