Richard Rosenbaum, Greenberg Traurig CEO

Richard A. Rosenbaum, Chief Executive Officer of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been honored with the 2012 Man of the Year award by the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America CCFA.

CCFA is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding a cure for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis.

“I am deeply humbled to receive this honor,” said Rosenbaum, “CCFA’s groundbreaking research and educational services have changed the lives of people suffering with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The mission of this organization hits close to home. One of my primary mentors, and one of the founding members of Greenberg Traurig, Mel Greenberg, was affected by this disease along with his son. It is in his honor and memory that I accept this award.”

The Man of the Year award, will be presented December 5th at the Sheraton New York Hotel in New York City, and honors those who dedicate their time to CCFA. Also being honored are: Sandy Montag, Senior Corporate Vice President and Managing Director for Clients at IMG with the Dick Schaap Lifetime Achievement award; C.C. Sabathia, Starting Pitcher for the New York Yankees with the Sportsman of the Year award and James F. Marion, MD AGAF, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine with the Physician of the Year award.
