NAFA Opens Registration For 2013 Institute & Expo In Atlantic City

NAFA Fleet Management Association has opened registration for its annual conference. The Association's 2013 Institute & Expo will take place in Atlantic City April 23-26.

NAFA's 2013 Institute & Expo will take place April 23-26 at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, NJ.

Atlantic City and excitement go hand in hand. It’s fitting then that the City will be host to NAFA’s 2013 Institute & Expo, since the Association’s annual conference is bursting with exciting new additions this year. Registration for the 2013 Institute & Expo is officially open with early-bird savings good until January 31. Those registering early can save hundreds of dollars and the first 200 registrants will be entered in a contest to win an Apple iPad2 or a complimentary one bedroom suite at the Trump Taj Mahal (one of two official conference hotels).

The 2013 Institute & Expo takes place at the Atlantic City Convention Center April 23-26. The excitement begins with the debut of NAFA’s Fleet Excellence Awards Night featuring the presentation of the industry’s highest honors and performance by the legendary Jersey band Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. The conference then follows with powerful keynote presentations to kick off each day, followed by more than 60 hours of fleet educational sessions, an expo with the latest products and services, and plenty of opportunities to network with the best and brightest in fleet management. This year’s educational sessions include a brand new Fleet Sustainability Track presented by CALSTART, a leading catalyst organization for the global clean transportation technology industry.

“One of the most exciting aspects of this year’s conference is the change to a Tuesday through Friday schedule,” said NAFA’s Executive Director Phillip E. Russo, CAE. “NAFA Members expressed an interest in keeping weekends free for their family and we respect their wishes. By moving to during the week, conference attendees will be able to immerse themselves in the educational sessions and spend time on the expo floor, then have a few days to relax after the conference, and bring all of those great cost-saving and cutting-edge ideas back to their employer!”

Attendees are encouraged to fly into the Philadelphia airport where NAFA will be offering shuttle service back and forth to Atlantic City. The Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort (1000 Boardwalk at Virginia Avenue) and the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel (Two Convention Boulevard) are the official conference hotels. NAFA will provide a shuttle to and from the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, while the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel is adjacent to the Atlantic City Convention Center.
