Ace Canopy creates a consumer grade party tent line at a third of traditional costs.

Ace Canopy is expanding their product line to be consumer friendly. In the past, if you wanted a large party tent you would have to contact a rental company or purchase a commercial grade tent with a cost more suitable for the rental company for an investment to rent out. Ace Canopy has created a line of party tents and canopies that are usually bought by rental companies but have made the models in such a way that the cost is at the consumer level. Gerald Ford did it with the “Model T” and that has become the bench mark for the success for product building and branding. Ace Canopy has made the product into a more simple and cost effective for. The party tent top, poles and connectors have all been broken down to easier assembly. The tents packaging has also been updated for store display.

The key was finding parts and material that were strong and durable but not as expensive and the current market’s standard material. In the past party tents have been made with expensive vinyl tarps. The vinyl is very durable and lasts for years with daily use but not all users need such heavy material. Ace Canopy has designed a super strong yet light weight poly oxford material. Poly oxford is 100% waterproof, mildew proof and much lighter than vinyl but is almost as durable. This material cuts the cost of the unit by 50%. Ace Canopy has also made a fire retardant model that is CPAI-84 certified, which is the highest regulation in fire retardant for tents and outdoor covers. The tent connectors have also been designed to be more efficient and less expensive. Many party tent connectors have needed locking bolts. Ace Canopy has designed their connectors to be self secure with the application of the tent top, which is attached with ball bungee cords.

The models will be targeted at name brand department stores internationally starting in February 2013.
